Extreme makeover was cancelled. Look it up on Futon Critic or Wiki or whatever. The show is just burning off the unaired episodes. As always, I am not wrong.
A bit stubborn?

Like I said, a bit stubborn.
So, is either one of you attempting to say that the show was not cancelled? If not, then you really aren't saying anything.

No, it was cancelled. We are simply saying that it is a season premiere. It's in the summer season, premiering its short run.

Well then, you aren't contradicting anything I said. All you are trying to do is claim that the leftover episodes from last season somehow qualify as a 'season premiere' because it is now summer. Pretty lame for anyone to use/allcaps the word 'wrong' when they have no correction to make.

Excuse me, all I said was that you were stubborn. Look what you wrote.

I wrote the proper response to someone that claimed I was 'WRONG' when I was not. Then, you came along to chime in even though you don't even know the difference between April and June.

You're right TAYLORJNG, it is being advertised as a season premiere. I hope it draws interest so the cancellation is undone. I always liked Extreme Makeover the original better than the stupid and sappy Home Edition version. It makes 7th Heaven look controversial.

Yes, the show has been canceled. You said: quote: I'm not sure summer burnoff really qualifies as 'season premiere'.
But, that is how ABC is billing it so, technically, you were wrong. Then, you come back with it was cancelled? Yeah, and... The Loop was cancelled, but its first episode was its season premiere.

'Technically', I would only be wrong if I was sure that summer burnoff of a cancelled show really did qualify as 'season premiere'. However, ignoring the limitations of your ability to understand English, how they bill the show does not make it a 'season premiere' any more than an episode is 'brand new' when it is really just a recap episode. It is just manipulative advertising. quote: The Loop was cancelled, but its first episode was its season premiere.
Extreme Makeover had already aired 3 or 4 episodes this season before being shelved. The episode tonight is just one of the few left around on that shelf. The fact that it is now summertime does not mean that these episodes from last season suddenly qualify as a brand new season.

Not true. It aired one episode as what was then a Friday night burnoff. Still, its being billed as a season premiere so its a real gray area. If ratings were to be in the 6 to 7 million viewer or range, and at or above a 2 in 18-49s, I think it could still return as a special. In fact, I believe these 4 episodes were all supposed to be specials in the first place two seasons ago, only to be held til summer last year, only to air one episode last fall, only to now be aired. If ABC really didn't care about it, the show wouldn't be getting any advertising at all. Just ask the fans of cancelled shows like GLo how much advertising last week's Friday night episodes got. Essentially none. So I think ABC is still trying to rejuvinate it for at least the 3 week run. If they didn't care, it would be airing on Fridays.

Was Extreme Makeover cancelled for 'poor ratings' or for 'moral implications'? I thought that ABC got away from this series because of the risk of bad press, medical complications, suicides from failed makeovers, etc... , not to mention that there were several other cable stations doing very similar shows at the time.

You really are unable to construct an argument without resorting to being an a-hole. Do you do this at you job? Do you talk to other people like this? Are you lonely? It's alright. You can express your frustrations here. It's being billed as a season premiere. Period. It doesn't matter if by your standards, it's not a season premiere. It's billed as one by the network. Justin wrote that in. Get over it.

I'm sure that earth is flat. That means when I go out and say that earth is flat; I'm not wrong.
