Dumont Prime ChoicesMY TUESDAY PRIME: LIVE:My Tuesdays are Crimetime in Primetime on MyNetworkTV
8:00 pm –
Street|Patrol -> MyNetworkTV's crimetime verite is oddly entrancing, and seems grittier than its FOX Cops ancestor. With audiences slowly building up to the two million viewer level, this is perfect counter-programming to the Idol machine.
9:00 pm
One Tree Hill (CW) -> It won't happen up against fresh House, but with the strike giving it encores for competition on most nights, I'd really like to see this series climb back up to the 4 million viewer level that was the norm on the WB, or perhaps even reach up to 5 million viewer territory. At Showrunner U, they'll be learning lessons from this series re-boot for years to come.
LATER:6:30 pm
Judy: Impressions of Garland (TCM) -> An alert to all fans of Miss Judy Garland, to scurry home earlier from work, feed the kids early or postpone dinner plans altogether, or set your DVR, VCR or kinescope recorder, to be able to watch or tape this outstanding 1972 documentary prepared by the BBC on the late Miss Garland.
8:00 pm
Beau Brummell (TCM) -> There are two feature film versions of Beau Brummell that TCM has shown recently...tonights is the silvery black and white original, and excellent source of material upon which the later 1954 re-make starring Miss Elizabeth Taylor is based.
9:30 pm
Carpoolers (ABC) -> I've got to hand it to ABC for sheer moxie in the promo they are running for tonights episode which compares Carpoolers to the...Sopranos finale!
