I was rather partial to Love, Inc. And Lovespring International. And Love Monkey too.
Last year was a very bad year for comedies/dramedies with the Love word in their title.

Lovespring International was one of my favorite shows from last year. (I love Jayne Lynch - she is on everything these days!) It's ashame they didn't renew that...

I would've liked One on One better and in all honesty, Eve would've been just as good.

Not only are those comedies nowhere near as good, they don't have the prestige of Girlfriends, either. Girlfriends is award winning and Girlfriends is the longest running comedy on network television today. It is a big feather in the cap for the CW and it does all that in the most competitive timeslot on television.
One on One was an alright show, but then it became all about the kids (so to speak) and they moved to California or whatever. I thought that's when it started to suck.

I haven't heard about any decision past next season. If Girlfriends ends after next season, that would then pass the torch of 'longest running live-action sitcom' to Scrubs. Of course, that will likely end next year. Next in the longevity line is According to Jim, I think. Of course, it will likely end next year as well, so the torch would then pass on to Two&1/2Men, I think.
You're right. It was very entertaining in seasons one through I believe four. When it became all about Brianna and Arnaz, then it got dumb.

That's only your opinion, and what prestigious awards has Girlfriends won anyway? I assume some award for the fact that it has basically an all black cast? Wow! What an accomplishment, because you know it had such great competition in your opinion for those awards (One on One, Half and Half, The Parkers, Eve, etc).
