-Concert for Diana (NBC) at 8:00pm To commemorate what would have been Princess Diana's 46th birthday, her sons William and Harry organized this concert at Wembley Stadium. Elton John, Duran Duran, Kanye West, P. Diddy, Tom Jones, Rob Stewart and Joss Stone are among the artists performing, with proceeds going to charities that were supported by the princess. VH1 is airing 5 hours of live coverage; Matt Lauer is the host of an hour of taped highlights.
-The Loop (Fox) at 9:30pm The promising but underperforming comedy ends its run with three episodes scattered throughout the evening. But don't fret, Bret Harrison fans. The charmer will be back on The CW's fall series Reaper.

-Standoff (Fox) at 9:00pm Emily, don't be so hard on yourself. Nobody blames you. Wait, the hostage taker has a sign reading "Emily Lehman did this"? Oh...well...then perhaps just a twinge of guilt.
-The Gil Mayo Mysteries (BBC-America) at 9:00pm We're adults. We don't giggle over Lake Titicaca. We don't draw boobs on posters. But how they expect us to keep a straight face for someone named Rev. Beave, I don't know.
-Degrassi: The Next Generation (The-N) at 8:00pm We've had 6 years of this drama already, not counting the previous Degrassi series. Isn't enough enough? I mean we get it, Page turned lesbian, then bi, the straight, then lesbian...people die, cry, get hurt. Seriously?

-Battlefield Breakdown (CNN) at 8:00pm John King counts the toll of the Iraq war, from lives lost to dollars spent.
-George Lopez: Why You Crying? (Showtime) at 9:00pm Because his show got axed? But that's just a guess.
