Dumont Prime Choices

MY TUESDAY PRIME:

LIVE:

8:00 pm CNN Election Centre (CNN) -> Can Senator Clinton and Governor Huckabee stage their comebacks. Wisconsin would be a good place to start for both, and the state does have a tendency to defy popular convention.

My Tuesdays are Crimetime in Primetime on MyNetworkTV
9:00 pm – Jail (MyNetworkTV) -> Last weeks verite look at the jailing of Mr. O.J. Simpson was not as exploitative as I had first imagined (that's probably why it didn't do so well in the ratings).

9:30 pm Carpoolers (ABC) -> I'll watch it as a bridge to Boston Legal. Fingers are still crossed that the mounting send-in-your-hair campaign will force ABC to sked Caveman in this slot when Carpoolers runs out of originals.

10:00 pm Boston Legal (ABC) -> This series is the very definition of quality network comedy-drama at its best.

LATER:

9:00 pm One Tree Hill (CW) -> This drama is so good ever since it made its dramatic leap forward. Tonight's episode, "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want", takes its title from a classic song...I wonder if they licensed rights to play it within the show?

10:00 pm Jericho (CBS) -> While last weeks episode left me somewhat ambivalent, I'll give it another try tonight just to see if it's peanut-worthy or not.

Yes, I was just so used to putting the (R) next to everything. Sorry. Haha.

XWISEGUYX's PICKS 2 CLICK 4 TUESDAY!

The Biggest Loser Couples! (NBC) Who will be eliminated tonight? A trip home challenges the teams to continue training in normal situations without help from Bob and Jillian.

Big Brother 9: Til Death Do Us Part
A special treat as a result of the strike! The ninth season begins with 16 houseguests entering the compound and being paired up with their so-called "soul mate." This season's Big Brother After Dark has been especially risque! Tonight: The Power of Veto competition is held.

Boston Legal
The last pre-strike episode! Tonight! Carl helps Shirley's friend Andrea when she blames a company for botching the process of turning her mother's ashes into a diamond; Whitney takes on a high school over a student's untimely death; Clarence represents a woman who's suing her pastor after he ended their affair; Denny and Alan prepare for their Coast Guard test.

Cable Alerts!

Lots to DVR tonight as well!
10 Items or Less (TBS)
Reminds me of The Office, but not quite as funny, but funny enough to tide us over until the post strike episodes are ready and the show returns. Tonight!
Tonights episode sounds promising because Amy (receptionist at Lovespring International) is hysterical! Tonight! When snooty exec Amy is canned at corporate behemoth SuperValueMart, Leslie hires her at Greens & Grains---to the staffers' immediate horror. Before long, Amy's hard-edged managerial style rubs off on Leslie as she transforms the store into an impersonal, cookie-cutter business.

Nip/Tuck (FX)
Jennifer Coolidge Alert!!! Final episode for the spring season. In the fifth-season finale, tragedy strikes the McNamara/Troy family after Julia learns the cause of her poor health. Meanwhile, a visitor from Christian's past returns with revealing news, and Sean finds the price of fame to be high indeed. Candy Richards: Jennifer Coolidge.

Last Restaurant Standing (BBC America) This is definitely a fun show with 9 couples competing to open their own restaurant by getting their restaurant of their own to run! 8 couples left, whose restaurant will be closed down next? Chef Raymond Blanc hosts the series and will provide financial backing for the winning team to open their own new restaurant. Check this one out.

Hey Dumont,
Where would I find the actual ratings last week for Street Patrol and Jail? Should I ask Marc to post them? Thanks.
