America's Ballroom Challenge (PBS) -> Those of you who watch Dancing with the Stars and Dance Wars might be interested in this PBS series which approaches the subject of dance from a more professional point of view. Tonights episode is titled American Rhythm, and it will feature the cha-cha, the rumba, the swing, the bolero and the mambo.
The Impossible Made Possible, Wednesdays on MyNetworkTV
9:00 pm -
Masters of Illusion: Impossible Magic -> MyNetworkTV continues its mini-series of five brand-new specials looking at the world of the possible in the seemingly impossible feats of magicians, illusionists and escapists. Tonights special is hosted by Sir Roger Moore (yes, Bond, James Bond), and the previews promise much of the same sort of magic that we saw in "The World Magic Awards" and all those "Breaking the Magciian Code" specials.
10:00 pm
Cashmere Mafia (ABC) -> This series is quite a pleasurable pasttime for the 10 pm hour. I look forward to comparing it to the preem this week of Lipstick Jungle on NBC Thursday.
LATER:8:00 pm
"31 Days of Oscar: Vertigo / Rear Window" (TCM) -> Tonight its a double serving of Mr. Hitchcock, and two of his Oscar-nommed features, both classic masterpieces, though I am more partial to Vertigo. These two I shall be burning to a personal DVD for a place on the shelf!
