Dumont Prime Choices

Thursday is the best night for television...bar none.

MY THURSDAY PRIME:

LIVE:
Find yourself Lost this Thursday on ABC

8:00 pm Lost (ABC) -> I'm enjoying the enhanced repeats, with all the witty writer marginalia.

9:00 pm Lost (ABC) -> What a humdinger last week was. Can 9 pm Thursdays come soon enough?

10:02 pm Eli Stone (ABC) -> This is still my primary 10 pm show, and must-see for me.

LATER:

Thursdays are My Night for Movies on MyNetworkTV
8:00 pm – Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (MyNetworkTV) -> I absolutely adored the first movie upon which this sequel is based, and Miss Whoopi Goldberg and Miss Maggi Smith are two of the finest comedic actresses around. This film must have been in and out of the theatres quickly because I wasn't even aware a sequel had been filmed until it came up on the MyNetworkTV upcoming lists.

9:00 pm New Amsterdam (FOX) -> I have found a new show to embrace...hoping that the second episode lives up to the quality and potential of the pilot directed by Mr. Lasse Hallstrom.

10:00 pm Lipstick Jungle (NBC) -> NBC was right to pick-up a back six on this series. This show has gotten much better...to all those who abandoned it after the pilot, I urge you all to revisit it.

XWISEGUYX's Thursday Picks 2 Click

Vacation continues, so DVR continues....

Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites : He's a ball of Goo! Tonight - Another castaway is voted out of the game after the tribes are reshuffled.

Celebrity Apprentice The stars get arty when they must choose an artist, display his or her artwork, then sell the pieces in an art gallery. But spying becomes an issue, and one team paints itself into a corner when it struggles with sales. Trump's "eyes and ears": Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr.

Lost Tonight! Juliet receives an unwelcome visitor from her past and is told to track down Charlotte and Faraday and stop them from completing their mission; Ben offers Locke a deal he finds enticing.

Eli Stone Each week's episode is a different George Michael Song. Tonight in an episode called "Something To Save": Eli needs Jordan's help when he is in danger of being disbarred after an embarrassing courtroom episode puts his ability to practice under scrutiny. However, Eli's fate may ultimately rest with Nathan's testimony about his brother's condition.

Cable Alerts!

Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (BBCAmerica) The BBC Version is a great way to tide you over until the American Version makes it's return. Tonight: Ramsay returns to Spain's Costa del Sol to see how La Parra de Burriana is faring one year later. It appears the owner needs another reality check, with plans to open a second restaurant before the first is a real success

Live:
9 - Lost (ABC)

DVR:
9 - New Amsterdam (Fox) - planning on watching the pilot online after Lost, then moving on to episode two later on
10 - Eli Stone (ABC) - I'm watching this again tonight because the end of last episode promised a little forward movement. But "Eli starts singing, hallucination ends, and everyone's staring at him" is getting really old. And his hugely annoying young assistant is almost a deal-breaker. This cast can make formulaic look good, but not this much formula.
