Dumont Prime ChoicesMY WEDNESDAY PRIME: LIVE:Wednesdays are Funny and Magical on MyNetworkTV
8:00 pm
Under One Roof (MNT) -> This sitcom is getting better with each episode. Tonights episode features Mr. Terrell Owens, a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, in his acting debut playing the long-lost brother of the character played by Mr. Flavor Flav in MyNetworkTV's mirthful new comedy, "Under One Roof". Sounds like they could be setting up an interesting recurring character.
8:30 pm
The Very Best of In Living Color (MyNetworkTV) -> Still no word as to whether this 'newpeat' series will go forward into the fall. In a recent interview around the MNT upfront, President Mr. Greg Meidel articulated a desire to build Wednesday into a comedy night with sitcoms and skit comedy shows. Maybe this summer, MNT could encore a couple of brilliant past skit comedy shows...wouldn't "The Tracey Ullman Show" encores (79 episodes), "The Dana Carvey Show" encores (8 episodes), and "The Kids in the Hall" (103 episodes) all make excellent shows to lead out of "The Best of In Living Color"?
9:00 pm
Breaking the Magician's Code 3(MNT) -> This is MNT's top rated series, and that's why the show has been given the Monday at 9 pm slot in the fall as "Magic Secrets" and MNT has ordered up fresh Breaking Magicians Code episodes for the fall.
10:00 pm
Boston Legal (ABC) -> That last episode with the court case around the pledged delegate for Senator Clinton switching over to Senator Obama may be a prelude to all sorts of upcoming summertime convention drama. So glad ABC gave a final season 13-episode order to Mr. Kelley. Here's hoping that he's able to do what he did on The Practice and create a nice little spin-off show out of the final episodes...maybe a return to The Practice, even?
LATER:10:15 pm
Marriage on the Rocks (TCM) ->
I know I'm not the only one enjoying TCM's fabulous Sinatra festival which continues tonight with this excellent sixties feature that also stars Miss Deborah Kerr, Mr. Dean Martin, Mr. César Romero and Miss Hermione Baddeley.
