In a local market irony, my MyNetworkTV affiliate is debuting the "Temptations" gameshow that has been syndicated on the local CW affiliate at noontime...so a little bit of unintended cross-network promotion is no doubt occuring in other markets where the MNT affiliate didn't pick-up this gameshow.

I'm looking forward to the "Breaking the Magician's Code" 9 pm encore from 1997 which garnered an audience of 24.2 million viewers in its original November Sweep airing on FOX.

What is temptation about?

Temptation is a remake of the 80s NBC game show Sale of the Century. Temptation began in Australia (where Sale was a monster hit for years), and was a ratings success for most of its run there (it was recently put on hiatus in favor of Australian WWTBAM).

I believe Temptation is referred to in some promos as "The All-New Sale of the Century".

Quick warning: I believe these preview episodes are "celebrity" editions for charity.
