The Scoop:

-David Blaine:
For three days and nights, David Blaine attempts to hang upside down (and walk) on a wire five stories in the air with no safety net, using electromagnetic boots. At the show's conclusion, he plans to exit from his perch in dramatic fashion.

-Gary Unmarried:
Painting contractor Gary (Jay Mohr) and his ex-wife (Paula Marshall) navigate kids and new relationships in this comedy, which opens with Allison announcing she is remarrying and Gary getting involved with a client who isn't convinced that he's ready to start dating again.

-Knight Rider:
A high-octane, tire-spinning drama about intrigue involving a tricked-out car and its driver. In the opener, Mike (Justin Bruening) and KITT gear up to deliver a package--but their parcel turns out to be a man with top-secret codes inscribed in his DNA. Mike's travels turn perilous upon the encroachment of enemies, including an enigmatic lady (Paula Garces) who has detailed knowledge of a past Mike can't remember. Val Kilmer proves the voice of KITT.

-Lipstick Jungle:
Nico considers telling Charles about her affair in the second season premiere. Meanwhile, Wendy's mother (Mary Tyler Moore) visits the family just as Wendy decides to spend more time at home; and Victory hires a publicist (Rosie Perez) and dodges Joe's attempts to win her back.

8:00 pm Knight Rider (NBC) -> Didn't particularly care for the backdoor pilot, but maybe they've jazzed it up a bit now that its gone to series.
9:00 pm American Masters - You Must Remember This: The Warner Bros. Story. (PBS) -> Missed the first two hours, but American Masters always does such excellent documentaries.

LATER:
8:00 pm The Twilight Zone (MyNetworkTV) -> Great summer encore series.
8:30 pm Gary Unmarried (CBS) -> I hope this takes off for Mr. Mohr.
9:00 pm Whacked Out Videos (MyNetworkTV) -> A very watchable vid-clip series.
9:30 pm Do No Disturb (FOX) -> So FOX, and so very funny too. I hope it lasts long enough to develop a following.
10:00 pm Lipstick Jungle (NBC) -> Glad this show staged a comeback for a second season. Miss Brooke Shields is a such a glowing star.
