Castaway is on Saturday. May have to catch that.

Catch the NASCAR Race, Fox comidies and then With Out A Trace.

Kind of a boring weekend, TV wise.

Thank goodness for my DVR. There is a lot of good (or guilty pleasure) television on this weekend.

Friday Night - Ghost Whisperer, Close to Home, 1 vs. 100, Law and Order and Trading Spouses.

Saturday - Nothing (but I wish there was some good programming on!)

Sunday - Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Amazing Race: Allstars (Go Charla!), Grease, Apprentice, Crossing Jordan, and Talk Sex with Sue on Oxygen.

Tvguide.com lists ABC showing 2 repeats of Grey's Anatomy instead of America's Funniest Home Videos. It was listed as the America's Funniest yesterday and was changed this morning - at least in my area.

And it's not even last night show - it's the 2 parter where Kyle Chandler blows up.

Last night's episode is being repeated next Thursday at 8PM, pre-empting Ugly Betty for the night.

Thanks for the info! Now I don't have to watch it online.

While I understand ABC's desire for the Grey's big stunt repeat to win out over Survivor in the ratings, I think it is a mistake to preempt Ugly Betty in the middle of February sweeps!

I think it is because of the thursday Idol airing. MIT is not on either because of the Oprah Oscar special.

Maybe ABC wants to save original episodes of Ugly Betty for May.

How does Grey's repeat in relation to an original Ugly Betty?

Grey's repeats tend to do 10-12 million viewers (in the 9 pm slot), while UB originals average around 13-14 million.

Thanks tvfan300. So, ABC is probably just saving the UB episodes for after AI has moved ut of Thursdays.

Well, AI moves to Thursday next week. So I certainly would save the Ugly Betty episode for a non-AI Thursday. The UB repeats do in the 8 million range, so there will likely be a slight increase in viewership with the Grey's repeat. Either way they will do less than their normal repeat averages against AI.

It should be interesting to see what American Idol does to Survivor.

I always think the spring is really tougher for Survivor. After three weeks of going against AI, it’s shortly onto preemption for the NCAA Tournament making it difficult to build momentum.

That said, I am surprised by Survivor's demo number. Starting in the mid five is higher than I would have thought.
