Well I am concerned with the hiatus and all the competition it faces.

Perhaps CBS would be smarter to move Jericho over to The CW for season two. 7th Heaven is finished and Smallville is losing viewers. Seems a perfect fit to me CBS/Paramount can plug a hole with a potential huge hit on the CW which it half owns.

Or it can languish on CBS..

Just my idea, would hate to see a series that has potential be dumped witout considering moving it to its sister network.

The hiatus would probably hurt Jericho, although I have not seen it I saw the clip show and liked it quite a lot. Isn't the first post hiatus episode up against 2 hour American Idol?

Um, Jericho is way too older skewing for the CW and probably too expensive. I think the ratings for the clips special were low, because it was a clips special. It should be fine in the coming weeks. Idol may hurt a little, but it will be fine in the long run. CBS seems to like it, so I'd say its got a good chance of renewal.

Not to mention that for all the "series hopping to another network" rumors that people like to start/hope for, it hardly ever happens. And it is even more rare that it succeeds. However, it could come down to Jericho and Close to Home (now that Shark has perked up and is a lock for renewal), and I think that the latter will get the axe.

Close to Home's a goner. When you're one of Friday's highest rated programs among total viewers and you're still pulled for sweeps, its not a good sign.
