About what it pulled last spring with a slightly higher demo and slightly less viewers. Too early to tell long term but its not promising.

You're right of course, but what's interesting is that combination makes for a much younger skew than last year, which I was not really expecting. Big Brother lead-in probably contributes to that, but this was never a show pulling less than 3 mil per demo point before.

It was also stronger in demo than it ever was in spring. If it can stay around 2.6 or move up a couple ticks, it might get interesting, considering the show was widely considered on the bubble when it was hitting 2.3 last year. Most likely, it'll go down, though.

It got much older slanting as it dropped last year, which is not uncommon during declines. A few markers that come to mind were low 9mm's and low 3's in late fall and then appx 7.8mm and 2.2 at end.

Were any half hour numbers posted for this? I skimmed the thread and didn't see them.

For ep quality, I think they needed to do a good bit more in this premiere so agree it will likely drop.

The big drop was obviously going to happen. Jericho will be lucky to air all 7 episodes, and Nuts wont save it this time.

Ya it was but unfortunately, its probably too little too late. In hindsight, having this air after NCIS was the better move in terms of total viewers with younger skewing Big Brother airing later away from the Idol monster. In fact, I bet Big Brother would've challenged for the demo at 10pm with this picking up about 1 to 2 million more viewers behind NCIS.

I want to give this show some credit for what I think have been the two best put-together episodes of the series to date. I got behind and was on the verge of just watching the whole season at some point over the summer as I did with S1, but I'm glad I didn't. Since the Ravenwood guy arrived, there has not been a wasted moment.

Unfortunately, they probably got there too late. When you have seven episodes, the villain needs to show up a lot earlier than the end of episode 2. Say some stuff about the Cheyenne government, introduce Esai Morales, and bring in the Ravenwood dude as a cliffhanger. That should've all been one episode, not two.
