Is Jericho in a bad time slot? The show itself while not stellar is a descent show. They have done a great job of story telling and advancing the story. CBS goofed with the hiatus, but do you think if it gets picked up for year 2 that moving it to a different location would help?

There really isn't a good place for it. It is in one of the least competitive hours of TV right now.

If, and this is a big IF, CBS decided to move CSI:NY to Tuesdays (to help out that night), you might try Jericho at 10pm, but only until January (13 ep. order only). Perhaps you can get those LOST fans to check it out until LOST came around

I'd bring it back as a 13 episode midseason deal and have producers ready to wrap stuff up.

10 pm would be very late for Jericho. It needs a lead in. CBS should have nurtured this show a little before dropping it out on ts own. They should have put it behind NCIS or something

Bottom line is it needs to be moved out of the way of American Idol. When it came back after the ill-timed hiatus, it was sliced to pieces by AI. It's just now starting to recover, as it was the most watched show yesterday from 8-9pm. That speaks volumes. Personally I'd like to see it on Thursday's at 10PM next year, and put Shark someplace else. Or see how it plays on Monday's and get rid of some of those crummy comdey's like How I Met Your Mother. Either way, I hope they keep it on the air and it doesn't get cancelled simply because CBS mishandled it. They had a legit hit on their hands and they put out their own fire.

Given the investment CBS has made in the Jericho website and all, I believe CBS will renew Jericho and move it to another night in between two more established shows, either Tuesday nights or Friday nights.
