OMG did he hate the show. He had nothing good to say about it. Usually CBS has one new sitcom that sticks, and you can see it is going to be Project Gary. Worst Week has no business in that 9:30 time slot except for the fact that CBS bought some of the show from Universal.
Some critics said they liked what they saw but the clips I saw made this look downright boring. Perhaps it will get better ala Out of Practice a few years ago, but lets be honest, will the CBS viewers embrace a single camera comedy? There has yet to be one that consistently pulls great numbers.
I definitely think Project Gary will be a better show, and it fits with the CBS Monday lineup better. The futon critic is a really good reviewer. Since he really thought the show was bad I kind of think ROE will be back in its 9:30 time slot before the season is over.
I watched Worst Week last weekend. I agree that it is not so good. I like the cast though, but the premise and storyline in the pilot were beyond ridiculous. When will writers realize that truth = funny. Geesh. They need to scrap the pilot or this show will be doomed.

I agree. I think Rules of Engagement will be back before we know it.
I say the first week it holds 100% of the Two and a Half Men audience for its sampling, and then we see it go down and down every week. Hopefully, ROE will get its time slot back within about 6 weeks.
