I don't agree. Having watched the pilot, this show reminded me a lot like Christine. A show that's going to need some time to find its groove. The two leads are fine, but the supporting cast is generic at best. Christine will do fine on Wed, but this show will not hold on to that audience after the first week. It's not even close to being as interesting as the pilot of BBT. I will give it a few weeks, but I don't think the average TV viewer will.
I also have to remind you that the show has got Paula Marshall in it. Paula "the kiss of death" Marshall that is. She's been in a lot of failed shows over the years. (Although I personally like her work.)
Here's her resume of shows she starred in:
TV Credits
Chicago Sons - Lindsay Sutton
Cupid (1998) - Dr. Claire Allen
Hidden Hills - Janine Barber
Out of Practice - Regina Barnes
Snoops - Dana Plant
Wild Oats - Shelley Thomas
The Weber Show - Katie
The pilot also had a few risque things in it that were more compatible with the 2 1/2 Men audience, so it probably would have been a better choice for that slot. I think ROE and Christine should have been tried on Wed to see if they could launch it and Worst Week held to midseason for some retooling.

Whatever Christine pulls, I think Project Gary will match or exceed. Its got great reviews and if people like the look of it, they'll preview it, just like they did Big Bang Theory. I do agree that Rules should not get post-2.5 Men under any circumstances again, but even that is probably better than the upcoming Worst Week.
