I dont think ROE is strong enough to anchor the night on Monday and I would leave 2.5 Men at 9pm, its been strong there, plus it helps another comedy out.

I'd love to hear the rationale behind putting 2.5 Men at 9:30.
I will only plead once more that they not break up HIMYM/BBT, the two most compatible comedies they have, in favor of a bunch of incompatible hours that will all be seeking out two different audiences and experiencing lots of tune-out at the half hour.
Fri- no. If they are trying to expand the genre, why screw around here?
Thursday - I don't have the greatest feel for SURVIVOR, but my guess is that they are not ready to downgrade this yet to 1 airing and no other nite looks good for this.
Tuesday - no. Pushing NCIS to 9pm would hurt it and thus hurt any 10pm show. NCIS holds well against IDOL.
Sunday - a possibility, because this is such a mess, but I say they (reluctantly) keep COLD CASE one more year and build a drama nite from a pool of THE TOWER, EXIT 19, and possibly CSI NY.
Wednesday - I quite possibly see a new drama at 10pm, so I don't see another new drama at 8pm. I don't see TAR here again. This 8pm hour is weaker than Monday 8pm, so any combo of ROE, CHRISTINE, and a new show would suffice. I would leave HIMYM and TBBT alone, and plug in a new show behind MEN.
Summary - They don't want to louse up Monday just to do this. It's a chance to take advantage of a possible surplus of shows in the most opportune hour.

I don't see THE MENTALIST on fridays. More like Tuesday at 9 or Wed at 10.
I don't see EXIT 19 coming out of NCIS.
MOONLIGHT is vulnerable either to not make the schedule at all or to be given a quick hook if THE MEANT TO BE's looks good. This is Glenn Gordon Caron's show, late of MEDIUM. And remember when everybody thought GW was going to be a joke?

Monday 8:00 BBT 8:30 HIMYM 9:00 2.5 Men 9:30 new comedy 10:00 CSI:Miami Keep this night realtively the same, but try and launch a new comedy out 2.5 Men.
Tuesday 8:00 NCIS 9:00 The Man 10:00 CSI:NY A new show is sandwiched by two veteran shows. CSI:NY moves over so a new show can launch out of CM
Wednesday 8:00 Old Christine 8:30 ROE 9:00 Criminal Minds 10:00 new drama This is the best spot for the second hour of comedies to go. Try and launch a show out of CM
Thursday 8:00 Survivor 9:00 CSI 10:00 Without a Trace I would move WAT, but that would be three moves in three years.
Friday 8:00 Moonlight 9:00 The Unit 10:00 Numbers I would possibly try Price is Right or another gameshow at 8, and have Moonlight and The Unit share 9.
Sunday 7:00 60 Minutes 8:00 Ghost Whisperer 9:00 Cold Case 10:00 new drama(female skewing) GW has the potential to do better away from Friday, and a new show is launched behind Cold Case.
Midseason:new comedy, new comedy, new drama, Price is Right, and Amazing Race.

I think the problem is CBS is afraid of change on their Thursday line up, because it's been the same for what, the past 6 years? With the exception of one or two years down the line of moving WAT.
But they need to think of something quick, because I'm sure next year Survivor will be down into the 11's and possibly 10's come spring season. The show only has about 1 or 2 years left in it anyway, I say give it a nice full 10 years.
