Last season, CBS tried to branch out a bit with Cane and Moonlight and failed. So no surprise they resort back to old tactics.

Interesting to see CBS trying to revive Hawaii 5-0 again.

Back in 1997, CBS attempted a Five-O revival with Gary Busey and Russell Wong, filming a pilot complete with several original Five-Oers appearing.

If the show goes to series, I hope CBS offers James MacArthur (Dan-O) at least a cameo in one episode. AFAIK, he's the last of the "classic" Five-O actors still with us -- Jack Lord, Kam Fong, Zulu and Herman Wedemeyer have all passed away.

My guess is Washington Fields will be the backdoor pilot.
