So, then MOONLIGHT would be the fri nite
show coming out of GW?

And SWINGTOWN between CC and WAT on Sun?

With CANE either getting the 10 thurs
or 10 tues?

And VIVA leading off Wed?

Reading the description of Big Bang Theory, It sounds like a companion show to Old Christine. So either CBS will have a 2nd night of sitcoms..
OR
HIMYM is out of the picture.

Trying to figure out Power of 10.
Sundays at 8pm?
Saturdays?

This is 5.5 hours of new shows. What is being tossed?
C2H, The Unit, Jericho, Tues@10pm, TAR, HIMYM ?

I don't have a feel for the comedies
the way you do, but on the other stuff,
boy, Drew Carey and a game show thrown
into the mix on Sunday?? Can't see it.

I also took it as a (relatively) foregone
conclusion that CC was moving back to
8. From what I hear, SWINGTOWN is a
period piece from 1976. That sounds
like a lead out there. And WAT can
certainly stand alone at 10pm.

So while I'm a little unclear on what
they're doing on MONDAY, I guess I
have the game show on Saturday, which
then, I guess, keeps THE UNIT on at
9pm Tues.

Not sure what to make of the Pickups and how it will affect the schedule.

Will there be a major shakeup with some aggressive show placement, or will they just fill the holes of cancelled shows?

Well since CBS' other alternative programming has flopped, I'd say this is a good idea.

I think Old Christine returns this fall with Big Bang coming in at midseason.

I didn't like the sound of SHARK at
Tuesday 10, not because of the de-coupling
from CSI so much as it was a bad move
for show and net. If they add CANE at
10 thurs, the better fits are SHARK
after CM, and CSI NY in the Tues 10pm.
ABC will be younger slanting at 10 wed
than on 10 tues. And NBC seemingly did
nothing to bolster SVU, another show
they seem primed to liquidate.

SHARK at 10 tues looks like a no-growth
dump, whereas it could grow with CM. And
if a new show or SHARK could make it at
10 tues, so could CSI NY, and it is a
proven demo performer.

I really liked this show the first time I saw it. When it was called "Modern Men."

And, still, of 7 pickups, the only one I was actually able to predict would be on the schedule. God only knows what went wrong with "Protect and Serve" or "The Man" (or how Ms. Tassler, in her infinite lack of wisdom, thought a casino musical was somehow more promising).

Don't blame CBS.
Blame the lack of viewers from late November to May.
