Personally, I would put question marks beside four series you have listed as returning since their renewals are anything from certain:
-"Cold Case" at 6 seasons, is one of CBS's longest running series and may be cut for no other reason than the network's lack of real estate. -"Eleventh Hour" is a freshman series whose time slot CBS feels may be better suited for another series next year. -"The Unit" has been on the verge on cancellation for each of its four seasons and may be a victim of CBS's success next fall. -"Worst Week" has been a consistent performer, but its future is possibly tied to whatever comedy replaces it ("Gary Unmarried" or "Rules of Engagement"). If either does markedly better, "Week" could be over.
Likewise, three of the four series listed as canceled could get a renewal:
-"Old Christine", despite its perceived weakness in young demographics, has been a solid overall performer allowing the network to establish of new comedy block and beat most of its lackluster competition (with only Fox's "Bones" a worthy competitor). -"Gary Unmarried" seems to be high on the list for CBS executives, getting its second Monday tryout later this month. Its potential full season order (20 episodes plus 2 additional scripts = 22 potential episodes) speaks to the level of confidence the network has in it. -"Without a Trace" has been wounded by airing on four different nights over four seasons (Thursdays, Sundays, back to Thursdays, and now Tuesdays) which could end its run, but it is doing respectable (all things considered) in its new home and it, or any CBS series, will likely have an easier time next season with NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" out of the picture.
Overall, CBS will simply have to cancel series that otherwise would get renewed. It has only one hole (Fridays at 9:00 p.m.) that will soon be filled by backup "Flashpoint" (itself a contender for a potential fall spot). Personally, I would not be surprised to see either "The Unit" or "Cold Case" get the ax, or both, if "Flashpoint" can get decent returns on Fridays. "Trace" could also see the ax for the same reasons.
The network is likely to keep its reality duo "Survivor" and "Amazing Race", but again separate them instead of having them share a time period. Also, the network will likely have at least one new comedy, so for the same reasons (lack of available real estate), "Old Christine" or "Rules of Engagement" could be canceled, unless the network opens up a two-hour block of comedies.
Potential CBS Fall Schedule:
Monday 8:00 Big Bang Theory 8:30 Gary Unmarried 9:00 Two & a Half Men 9:30 New Comedy 10:00 CSI: Miami
Tuesday 8:00 NCIS 9:00 The Mentalist 10:00 Without a Trace
Wednesday 8:00 New Adventures of Old Christine 8:30 Rules of Engagement 9:00 Criminal Minds 9:30 CSI: NY
Thursday 8:00 Survivor 9:00 CSI: Crime Scene Investigation 10:00 Streets of San Francisco (NEW)
personally i see CBS having too may Police/Forensic/Detective Dramas.i was bored from CSI:NY after 2 episodes.I think they should keep The Unit for another season then get rid of it.Focus on more Action Dramas to level to FOX.Also axe some Comedies and improve on them. Some CBS Comedies are terrible and some aren`t that bad,but still they need improvement. Not too may problems but still some problems.
CSI:NY??? Dunno if it may work but who knows.Streets of San Francisco sounds good and aring after CSI may be good for it.NCIS spin off may be good and a new comedy at 8.30 sunday and 9.30 Monday may see Your fantasy CBS win the ratings in Fall. What about Mid Season though???

Some contenders for midseason:
"Hex Wives", a hour series about four suburban women who realize they have magical powers (a cross between "Charmed" and "Desperate Housewives", could get the post-"Ghost Whisperer" time slot (Fridays at 9:00 p.m.) with "Flashpoint" sent to the midseason bench.
"Magic City" is a 1960s period drama set at an iconic Miami Beach hotel from producer Mitch Glazer. If "Without a Trace" is canceled, this series could air on Tuesdays instead, or possibly on Sundays.
An untitled medical drama is also reportedly in the works from Curtis Hanson (of "L.A. Confidential") and Carol Barbee ("Jericho"). No details have been provided, but it could also land on Sunday or Tuesday (even though medical drama "3 LBS" flopped there two years ago).
I would also order up more episodes of "Million Dollar Password" or another short-term series (such as the upcoming "Game Show In My Head") to fill in during the hiatus between cycles of "Amazing Race" and "Survivor". Another option would be a possible midseason order of 13 episodes for "Worst Week" if CBS is REALLY high on the series which could air post "Mother" on Sundays.
Concerning the comedies, CBS is blessed with too many successful sitcoms ("Big Bang Theory", "How I Met Your Mother", "Two and a Half Men", and to a lesser degree "Gary Unmarried"). CBS is sure to launch at least one new comedy and wouldn't likely have a one hour comedy block made up of two new series, so another one hour block on another night (as opposed to having two, two hour blocks) may be better. "Gary Unmarried" and "Rules of Engagement" may get preferential treatment (i.e. renewal) since CBS owns a stake in both. Personally, I would have to see how the Wednesday comedies fare against "American Idol" before predicting whether of not CBS will continue with comedies there.
P.S., the series "Hex Wives", "Magic City", and the Untitled Medical Drama have been mentioned at www.tvweek.com as series that CBS has in development for next season.

It's way too early to be doing a fall schedule without seeing any midseason ratings, but I think I'll do one anyway.
Monday 8-BBT 8:30-HIMYM 9-2.5 Men 9:30-new comedy 10-CSI:Miami This night doesn't need to be fixed just try another comedy in the 9:30 slot.
Tuesday 8-NCIS 9-The Mentalist 10-WAT(13 episode final season)/new drama for midseason WAT could probably pick up some viewers for the home stretch and then just try out a new series.
Wednesday 8-4th best returning comedy 8:30-new comedy 9-Criminal Minds 10-CSI:NY I think CBS is sticking with this comedy hour next year since they haven't been pulled yet.
Thursday 8-Survivor 9-CSI 10-new drama Keep the night the same.
Friday 8-Ghost Whisperer 9-Flashpoint 10-Numbers If Flashpoint breaks 8 million and a 2 demo I'd say they'l keep this lineup together.
Sunday 7-60 Minutes 8-NCIS spinoff 9-new procedural 10-Cold Case This night is going to be pretty shaky. They have to hope the NCIS spinoff does at least 13 million and a 3.5 demo and that the bottom doesn't fall out on Cold Case.
Midseason:5th best returning comedy(8 episodes),Amazing Race, and whatever other reality/gameshow filler they have.

like the ideas. The New Developemental Shows sound like they could be a success.I have never seen CBS do a Charmed style show.I picture that doing good ratings if it is picked up.

Once CBS fixes Sundays, I think they should try more dramas on Saturdays. Old people are always home on Saturdays, and if they put a crime drama there, the old people will watch. Other then Sunday, CBS has a pretty strong lineup.

Big Bang Theory How I Met Your Mother Two And A Half Men CSI Miami NCIS The Mentalist Criminal Minds CSI NY Survivor CSI Ghost Whisperer 48 Hours 60 Minutes Amazing Race
Most Likely Renewals Flashpoint Numbers Rules of Engagement
Questionable Renewals New Adventures of Old Christine Gary Unmarried Worst Week Eleventh Hour Cold Case Without A Trace The Unit Million Dollar Password
CBS tends to be the most stable so a lot of the questionable renewals will end up getting renewed for at least mid-season replacements, if not full orders.

"Murder She Wrote...AGAIN" staring Betty White!
Diagnosis Murder: The Next Generation staring....um umm... Patrick Duffy.
Maybe Saturdays nights are the place for that Hawaii Five-O remake.
There's a definate spinoff. Casting notices were sent out for a February pilot filming that will end up tieing in to a later NCIS episode. Spoilertv.blogspot.com has all the details, if interested.

Maybe that spin-off should go behind CSI next year. NCIS has a large audience, but it always finished second in the demographic. If the comedies don't hold up well on Wednesdays to Idol, out the spin-off there and ship the comedies off to Sunday. NCIS hold up well against American Idol, so logic would say so would it's spin-off.
CSI DO NOT NEED another show on CBS.Miami,NY and the main show is enough. When one is cancelled i could see CBS picking up one but none of them will be cancelled.CSI does not need more spin offs.
