Ghen maynard leaves his post as executive VP for alternative programming. Future shows he produces will be offered to CBS/CW with first right of refusal.
CBS/CW really needs to make a change here. In the CW's case, they're targetting a demo already that watches a ton of reality. They should be embarrased as some of the utter junk they've put on like Crowned. Ditto for Farmer Wants a Wife. They should've been going after Real World/ Laguna Beach type shows that draw in the eyeballs instead of this stuff. In CBS's case, they haven't had a reality hit since Survivor/TAR/BB all came along within a year of each other. Million Dollar Password doesn't count as its an older skewing program that won't bring in the ad bucks. One would've thought something like Dancing with the Stars that appeals to both the young and old would be their focus. Instead, we've gotten the likes of Greatest American Dog.
