http://www.sbgi.net/about/profile.shtml" Sinclair owns and operates, programs, or provides sales services to 58 television stations in 35 markets. Sinclair's television group includes 20 FOX, 17 MyTV, 9 ABC, 9 CW, 2 CBS and 1 NBC affiliates and reaches approximately 22% of all U.S. television households."
http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/sinclair-report...results,495160.shtml"-- Time sales on our ABC and CW stations were down 5.2% and 0.4% in the
quarter, respectively. Stations affiliated with FOX, MyNetworkTV, CBS and NBC
were up 2.7%, 0.7%, 34.2% and 1.0%, respectively. Excluding political
revenues, our ABC and CW stations were down 10.6% and 1.1%, respectively,
while our FOX, MyNetworkTV, CBS and NBC stations were up 1.8%, 0.3%, 31.0%,
and 0.2%, respectively."
The two CBS stations are in Portland, ME and Cedar Rapids, IA. Not sure why they had such explosive growth, but clearly the ad sales have nothing to do with national ratings in the 2nd quarter.
