It seems that CBS came up with an even worse programming idea than Mixed martial Arts:

I understand the CBS desire to get younger and the belief that sports can get CBS to that goal, but I think CBS has a very poor grasp on what constitutes 'sports'.

Well....On the good side, at least they are making an attempt to program Saturdays *shrug* Maybe one of these times they'll find something worthwile to air.

I think the November airing on CBS is set for Sunday...paired with The Amazing Race or maybe TAr will take a week off?

Slamball has been around for a little wile. It was on Spike TV a few years back, as a TV only sports league. So, some sports fans are aware of the hybrid sport. It is a low risk broadcast for CBS. I wonder if it may actually be a buy of the time slot by Slamball and not just a CBS SPorts airing?

If CBS is experimenting with programming sports on Saturdays, perhpas bringing back Dodgeball would appeal to viewers?
