Well, I actually though they would be somewhat aggressive, but I guess not.
A little suprised that Shark and WAT switched. I guess they wanted Thursdays a little stronger.
Cane on Tuesdays may spell doom for the new show. Should have been put behind a proven series, not The Unit.
Viva Laughlin in a higher profile slot of Sundays at 8pm should help with my bet with X. CBS will be more ready to pull a show then, than at 8pm Wednesdays.
Considering the number of failures they've had with Tues @ 10, I'm surprised they're still willing to put a NEW drama in that timeslot. Putting an established show there may have reversed the trend.
I doubt that it's the Tues at 10 slot. It's likely just been the shows themselves. Where are all those people that were saying yes, The Unit is a proven show, and no, don't dump Shark on Tuesday at 10? Someone should be happy that Shark got moved to Sunday at 10. It should be a decent fit with Cold Case. They gotta put something on Tues at 10, kids.
The Big Bang Theory sounds awful on paper (and a lot like Modern Men). Perhaps I'll be surprised.
I love the time slot for Viva Laughlin! A perfect companion for 60 Minutes. I love to sing TV showtunes after getting my weekly dose of Andy Rooney. Doesn't everybody?
My guess is that the buzz for Caveman will be continue to be so bad, that it may not even make it to air. This bet is in the bank for me.....
I must check out Lifetime's fall schedule - perhaps it'll give me some ideas for "mustsee TV-aholic" viewing.

Based upon the competition, I'd say "Deal or No Deal" is going to become dominant in the Wednesday 8pm time period; it has played well there in the past when not up against "AI", and so far it's going up against all new competition (pending FOX's schedule announcement). The Wed. airing of "Deal" will probably outscore it's Monday airing, which would go up against "Dancing With the Stars". This would bode well for NBC's Wednesday nights...stay tuned!

It will be a contest...I'll bet "Psychic Restaurant Medium" gets pulled first though...
I feel underwhelmed. I'm surprised that Amber Tamblyn's "Babylon Fields" didn't make it. Kid Nation just seems like a joke and I predict "Viva Laughlin" getting the ax within 2 months.

With a little deeper look, I am a little suprised that CBS stuck with Comedies at 8pm on Mondays.
They took a hit going against DWtS. They should have moved the 2 shows to another time period (Tuesdays @ 8pm) and tried something different to go against DWtS.
What an awful scheduling job by CBS. They knew what NBC and ABC and they went conservative.
They canceled their highest viewer Friday night show and their best 8pm hour 18-49 comedy "The Class" - which performed better than HIMYM and Old Christine in that slot.
Plus they axed Jericho...
Two shows Jericho and the Class that were at least different than their typical formula BS.
