I'm hoping Travis is right about The Unit making the schedule.. It is my favorite CBS show and I always watch it .
Jericho had my attention until they killed off Johnston since I watched mainly for Gerald McRaney so Frowner

This looks like something CBS would come up with. I don't think HIMYM was ever in serious danger, and The Unit seems to fit well out of NCIS and holds up well opposite House. Still don't like Shark on Tuesday, though.

I'm worried about THE AMAZING RACE too. Don't people get tired of all the crime procedurals, including the 3 L&Os on NBC? Reality shows are supposedly cheaper, hopefully it finds a place on the schedule.

I've just seen a couple of articles that pretty much back up this schedule. Sounds like it's more or less the real deal.

TAR's ratings have been decent enough to warrant at least one more run. I would be hopeful CBS could schedule another TAR in between Survivor runs.

One of TAR's head honchos, Bertrand Van Munster, is supposedly working on one of Oprah's reality shows for ABC, so that may be one reason TAR's future is up in the air.

I'm wondering if recent changes in airline and airport security measures (liquids, etc.) is giving CBS second thoughts about the show as well.

Surprised to see that not even 1 new comedy is on this. CBS had several comedy pilots. Seems to me like CBS is making a big mistake leaving Monday night as is. The ratings have really fallen on that night for them, especially 8-9PM.

As usual CBS is taking a cautious approach with this schedule. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. But with the decline in their ratings in the 2nd half of this season one would think they would make more changes. I think ABC might really challenge CBS in the total viewers number next season. People are really starting to get tired of all the CBS crime procedurals.

You'll notice AL that there are no new "crime procedurals" on this rumored schedule. So that's a bit of a tired old line. No one ever says that people are getting tired of crummy comedies on ABC. But they keep coming.

Well, you are right, there are no new crime procedurals. However, I still think that CBS (if this schedule is correct) is taking a too catious approach. A few years ago when NBC was in 1st, they just left things alone as shows declined, and then eventually look what happened. I see the same thing happening with CBS. 2 to 3 years from now there is no way they will be in 1st in total viewers.

A couple of other notes on CBS' schedule:
IMO there is no way Shark will survive on Tuesday's at 10PM. That is a show that is totally dependant on its lead in (and even now it loses a huge chunk of the CSI audience).

Putting on a new show like Swingtown on Sunday's at 10PM is a big mistake. With the constant delays in CBS' schedule due to football and other sports I don't see this show working in that timeslot.

I still don't understand why CBS does not put WAT on Tuesday's at 10PM. That is a timeslot they have struggled in for years, and that show would almost guarantee them a victory in that timeslot.

I'm not too worried about The Amazing Race. I heard once on their Internet Show and elsewhere it was coming back AND they said they were not filming over the summer, therefore, it couldn't possibly be on the fall schedule.

Actually not suprised at this schedule...Nice to see HIMYM come back, because that was in doubt for the longest time, and I thought it was a better sitcom than Christine...

I think TAR is going to do what they've done before...be a midseason replacement (I don't know if they can fit a season between the Survivor seasons, unless they start Survivor really early....like the first week of September)..If not, it's been a good run for a show that almost didn't make it past the 3rd season...

Exactly x and it wins Emmys, something CBS doesn't do all that often. They would be eaten by critics for cancelling it and I bet another network would pick it up anyway.

I hope they move it back to Wednesdays 8pm. No competition at that time too. Ratings were pretty much the same as on Sundays.

I bet that about 3 of the 4 CBS dramas flop because their audience won't know what the hell that stuff is and without much for backups, CSI gets a massive workout. I mean Amazing Race can only fill one slot and maybe the comedies could get expanded by an hour but CBS is definitely taking a huge risk.
