Looking at those averages, I think:
-Someone should have picked up CBS' Close To Home for midseason.
-Someone should have picked up CBS' The Class.
-CW should have picked up CBS' Armed And Famous instead of Farmer Wants A Wife (well they both sound as bad).
-CBS should buy MyNetwork TV so its high standard axings do not go unused, haha.

While I don't think Close to Home should've been cancelled, I can see why CBS did. Look at the 18-49 demo. It's viewer rank is #41, but it's 18-49 demo rank is #87 tied with Standoff which got 4.2 million less viewers.

Plus, Numbers and Ghost Whisperer were able to hit close to 3.0 18-49 or above and Close to Home struggled to hit a 2.7.

41. Close To Home CBS 10.3 2.5/8 (87)
65. The Class CBS 8.4 3.0/8 (61)
95. Armed & Famous CBS 6.1 2.0/5 (107)

Hmmm, all I see is losers in this category. Why would anyone want them? Close to Home has a ridiculously low demo rating. The Class has poor overall viewers and demo rankings for its timeslot. Armed and Famous was doing much worse at the end of its run. It'd be lucky to bring in 2 million on the CW. P.S. Farmer Wants a Wife actually got people buzzing. Armed and Famous never did.

I do agree Close to Home should of been renewed for 13 episodes. I think ABC should of picked up The Class for 13 episodes, It would of been the only comedy that's worth watching on ABC.

Armed & Famous was viewed as a joke from the start. Close to Home's average demo rating is well below 3 of the 4 networks, and NBC tried a procedural in that timeslot with Raines and it failed. The Class doesn't fit with any of NBC's comedies and since ABC doesn't have any returning comedies (that have established themselves as legitmate self-starters), there is nothing to pair it with on ABC.

The Class would only have a chance on ABC with another high profile traditional sitcom. Even Jim and GLo wouldn't fit that audience. Perhaps if HIMYM would've been kicked off as well I would've seen the pair switch networks, but NBC would've been all over them in hopes of getting the next Friends.
