Mohr made the otherwise dull Ghost Whisperer watchable, but that was as a nervous, eccentric professor. Leading a traditional sitcom is a completely different beast, and I'm skeptical that he can pull something like this off. Nice to know that the Futon liked him in the role.

If CBS can stick with them through the first month or so, I think they'll do well. Knight Rider and Pushing Daisies will probably start out strong but drop viewers as they go along, so the competition in the hour will get weaker as the season progresses.
I agree that Knight Rider will drop (think Bionic Woman style drop). Pushing Daisies probably won't drop too much since it has already done most of its dropping. Despite what the networks want us to believe about relaunching freshman shows, we (the audience) are not going to forget everything we saw last year). Most of the audience that bowed out of freshman shows will stay out of those shows going into next year.
As for FOX hiding theier Wednesday comedies from CBS: I don't think that is the case. Bones is simply returning to where it aired 2 years ago.
As for TNAoOC and Project Gary: I hope they can survive on the night, but it won't help that Project Gary was paired with CBS's weakest comedy offering.
I just don't think Pushing Daisies was done dropping, and now it will have more competition. I can see it premeiring higher (8-9 mill range) then dropping to around 6 mill.
I agree that FOX isn't hiding their comedies, just giving them a needed lead-in. Besides, Bones will likely win the slot after the new-show-sheen has worn off Knight Rider. It wouldn't have that chance in pretty much any other timeslot.
For some reason CBS comedies only do well on Monday. They even gave BBT and HIMYM the 8:00 Thursday time slots for two weeks, and they got nowhere near what they get on Mondays. I know it was just repeats, and they got no promotion of them being on Thursday those weeks, but they just did not do as well as Monday. CBS has not had a successful sitcom block outside of Mondays in 10 years. I think Old Christine is also a bad anchor. They should have used Rules of Engagement or even HIMYM. It would have been a better choice. I think both these struggle there.
I'm really surprised this show didn't get the post 2.5 Men spot. The review are better than Worst Week, its more traditional, and they've already started promoting it a lot.

It was supposed to get that post Men spot, but CBS bought into the show as part owner from Universal, and Universal demanded as part of the deal that the show must be on at 9:30 on Mondays, so this show the shaft. I think this show is much better than Worst Week, which does not really fit with Two and Half Men.

Yeah, I think Worst Week is an awful fit with the rest of the Monday sitcoms. I bet it gets a huge sampling the first week, and holds all of the Men audience, and then we see it drop and drop and drop every week, as the CBS traditional sitcom audience rejects it.

Project Gary has little chance of survival in its current timeslot. I hope when Worst Week gets canned, they let Project Gary have that spot instead of giving it to ROE again.
If CBS is being patient and let the two comedies air until November sweep before they decide their fate, then it will have a reasonable chance to make it. However, they should air repeats of the Wednesday show on Monday for traditional sitcom viewer to sample
