I know Marc will jump all over me for saying this but there is absolutely no reason to air the remaining episodes of this. If the show was pulling 4 million, yes. Even 3 million I'd say burn off the episodes, but this can't even reach that threshold. Put it online and call it a day. No one was watching this show to begin with. No one is missing it. NBC will do better in the long run by airing something else. Once they get done pulling this show, go ahead and pull Kath and Kim, Knight Rider, Life, and My Own Worst Enemy. Cue up the producers at Dateline and tell them to have 4 hours ready for each week come January. 2 on Wednesdays and 2 hours on Sundays.

I have to respectfully disagree. Although it makes financial sense in the short term, in the long term they would be best to show the remaining episodes. Repeatedly plucking shows from the air without a proper ending is one of the many reasons for the erosion of broadcast ratings. The nets have no control over things like DVD and DVR usage or the rise of cable, internet and video games. Not pissing off the viewers they still have, is something they do have control over.
Two million viewers may be a pitiful number, but pissing off even a small percentage of them will hurt NBC in the long run. Crusoe is a serialized drama, those two million people want to see how it ends. And if they don't get to see the conclusion they will remember that next year when they think about trying out new shows.
I'll try just about anything on cable, because I know that come hell or high water all the episodes will air, even if it's on at one in the morning.
