WHile I wouldn't classify myself a regular viewer, I have watched all their series at one time or another, and I look forward to sampling their newcomers as well.
What I think is most inspired about their programming strategy is the way they are clearly monikering their evenings around themes:
"Murder Mondays" (crime dramas) "Tuesday Nitro" (actioners and reality skeins) "Wicked Wednesdays" (sudsers) "Big Thursday" (reality) "Crime Scene Friday" (procedurals) "Supernatural Saturdays" (sci-fi/thrillers). "Adventure Sunday" (family) / "The Brit Movie" (British theatricals)
Trust it to the British to offer up such a balanced diet. If only CBS could learn from the BBC a bit about how to package nights around something other than procedurals.
It will be interesting to see if BBC's pick-up of the family drama "Wild at Heart" will influence The CW's decision.
Also, "Hollyoaks" (Monday-Friday at 10 p.m.) sounds very telenovellaish, and I hope it works well for them better than for MNT.
