In honor of the NCAA Basketball Tournament, this site should have its own type of bracket. I was thinking of doing a best-show or worst-show bracket but so many other sites do that. So I'm doing a bracket based on the most commonly used phrase in this forum, especially by Marc, which is "overrated".
The "winning" show will be have the distinction of being PIFeedback.com's MOST OVERRATED SHOW OF THE YEAR! And you could help determine this!
I've determined the seedings of the show based on the hype of the show and juxtapose it with its quality along with the sentiment described in these forums. By the way, "Grey's Anatomy" is one of my favorite shows to watch but I know a significant number of friends and folks who either don't watch it or don't like it, even hate it. Here are the seedings, set by me:
1. Grey's Anatomy (ABC) 2. Lost (ABC) 3. 30 Rock (NBC) 4. Criminal Minds (CBS) 5. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (NBC) 6. Deal or No Deal (NBC) 7. CSI (CBS) 8. Ugly Betty (ABC) 9. Scrubs (NBC) 10. Extreme Makeover Home Edition (ABC) 11. American Idol (FOX) 12. Dancing With The Stars (ABC) 13. Prison Break (FOX) 14. Desperate Housewives (ABC) 15. How I Met Your Mother (CBS) 16. Two and a Half Men (CBS)
You can vote on which show in each matchup is overrated. For the first round, matchups are determined just as they are in basketball: #1 vs. #16, #2 vs #15, #3 vs #14, etc.
After the polls close on Tuesday April 10 8:00AM Eastern Time, a "winner" will be determined.
BITTER-SWEET 16 (60 votes were submitted from March 14, 2007 3:51AM to March 19, 2007 7:00PM):

I had totally forgotten about another show that has polarized this forum - Veronica Mars (CW). Although some of you here think it's the #1 overrated show, but let's see how it fares up against the bracket's lesser-overrated shows first.

While this is a fun poll (in a negative way I guess), I think it really provides some deceiving results to force a vote on shows in cases when neither show is believed to be "overrated" by the voter. In my case, that was with 30 Rock & DH. Actually, for the rest, I had no problem voting one of them. To make this one better though, you should allow folks to not choose either. Not that we are looking for scientific studies here, but if one pair had a much lower amount of overall votes, it would tell you more about how people really felt about the shows being overrated.

It was hard to choose some because I kept on saying the other show was more overrated but than when I clicked it I was more like, no it's not as overrated as that show.
But, Criminal Minds is overrated? If anything all I hear are negative attitudes towards the show.

No, I voted for and against shows I watch and like. Overrated in not necessarily saying something is bad. Just not worth as much hype as it gets.
