Some members of this forum (you know who you are) have asked me for months about having some type of themed game of the P.I. Feedback Challenge.
Surprise! Your day has arrived! A new themed P.I. Feedback Game just premiered online!
On top of our regular weekly game, which is currently in progress (click logo below), I premiered a new game based on only the 18-49 age demographic (click logo to the right). I called the game the "Ad Exec Edition" because those advertisers and networks are looking at this 18-49 rating specifically in July.
And why premiere this game now? Because Thursday, July 5, marks the first day of the July sweeps period. If you didn't know the TV networks actually use July as a sweeps month, you know now.
So now you all can act like those ad-money-hungry network executives (like you know you want to be!) and play this game, which is pretty much in the same format as our regular P.I. Feedback Challenge games. Only here, I'm using the 18-49 ratings as data (not "number of viewers"). You'll notice a lot less entries available in this particular game (compared to our weekly game) and I'm basing the order of the shows on the list on its entire summer 18-49 rating.
Finally, although Nielsen designates a television week as going from Monday to Sunday, this game will rank shows per week, going from Thursday to Wednesday because sweeps months generally begin on a Thursday and end on a Wednesday, like this one from Thursday, July 5 to Wednesday, August 1.
Deadline for this game is Friday July 6 at 7:59a.m. EDT.If successful, expect this themed game to return for the November 2007 sweeps!
