Excellent game concept Douglas, and a stirring graphic execution.

A new entry:

ROSTER METHOD A:
#1 (100 points): America's Toughest Jobs (NBC) [+9]

#3 (80 points): Do Not Disturb (FOX) [+3]
#4 (70 points): Worst Week (CBS) [+18]
#5 (60 points): Opportunity Knocks (ABC) [+9]
#6 (50 points): The Mentalist (CBS) [+18]
#7 (40 points): Gary Unmarried (CBS) [+0]

#9 (20 points): E.R. (NBC) [+0]
#10 (10 points): According to Jim (ABC) [+0]
First cancellation: September 29, 2008

I have a sense that FOX will put out the garbage very early this season, but much to Mr. Reilly's chagrin, NBC's dustbin will already be out there at the curb for Mr. Zucker looks poised to once again clean house at NBC...to work for him is surely America's Toughest Job. And this is unfortunate because Mr. Silverman has put together such a commendable schedule of returning favourites and soon-to-be-Dumont-favoured classics.

Douglas, I just noticed that there is a show (show # 7 with 40 points) missing on my roster. I guess something happened when I copy & pasted my roster. Is my entry still valid?

Fox officially confirms 'Do Not Disturb' dead: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2008/09/foxs-do-not-dis.html

Fox's "Do Not Disturb:" the first casualty of the TV season
11:35 AM PT, Sep 27 2008

After airing three episodes of "Do Not Disturb," starring Niecy Nash and Jerry O’Connell, Fox has declared the new comedy dead, a network spokesman confirmed Saturday.

Talk about disturbing! Not so much because we were such big fans of the show, but because the untimely demise demonstrates how extremely difficult it's becoming for producers, writers, and actors to succeed on broadcast television. Folks can't catch a break!

With an average four million viewers -- which, by the way, would be a hit on cable TV -- Fox executives chose to get out while they still could avoid a financial disturbance. We understand: It's been a tough week on Wall Street. Not to mention Main Street.

MRC shuts down two CW series

'Easy Money,' 'Valentine, Inc.' no longer in production
By Nellie Andreeva

Oct 13, 2008, 08:02 PM ET
The MRC experiment on the CW is facing an uncertain future.

The independent producer, which in May inked a deal to program the CW's Sunday night, has shut down production on its two scripted series for the block, "Easy Money" and "Valentine, Inc."

The move follows very low-rated first two airings for both series, which are bing put on 4- to 6-week hiatus.

In their second outing Sunday, "Valentine" averaged 1 million viewers and a 0.4 rating/1 share among adults 28-49, while the well received "Easy Money" logged 750,000 viewers, 0.3/1 in 18-49, down 25% from the premiere.

I'd hold off on claiming this is a cancellation notice since both series are still airing and the studio's official statement is that the suspension of production was a planned event and that script writing continues.

Meanwhile, Opportunity Knocks is much more 'officially dead':

MRC Cancels Two Shows On The CW

I'm told that financier and producer Media Rights Capital has canceled two of the four shows it put on The CW after being given the rare opportunity to program a network's Sunday nights. Both Valentine and Easy Money had been put on hiatus with skeleton crews while more scripts were written. Now both series are on permanent hiatus, which is a nicer way of saying they've been cancelled. MRC still has authority to program Sunday nights on The CW for the entire 2008-2009 season so it'll be choosing two replacement shows right away.

This still isn't a news source and since both Valentine and Easy Money are scheduled to air again this Sunday the 'cancellation' is not in effect. No matter, though, since none of the MRC shows were part of this game.

Douglas,

Is it possible to get an update in the standing for this game?

I think Hole in the Wall is still alive though since its on the mid season schedule.
