its nice to see that alot of u dont feel that chuck or 90210 will get canceled these are the 2 series im really hoping will do well this season. especially chuck im really addiced to chuck.
Douglas,, I have a few questions to ask you. I am confused about shows that are limited run. For example, how can ER be canceled? Everyone knows this is the last season. It's not canceled, it's just come to an end.
I wonder the same about limited run series than are running on the networks...things like Crusoe. If it runs 13 episodes, then it has completed it's run. It is not canceled, it's just finished.
There are other series with foreign backers like Merlin and others. For foreign based stuff, 13 is season.
I think we need to have some sort of discussion/ruling on this kind of thing before the season actually starts.

True, some limited series may complete its run, but the more likely scenario is that even if a series is labeled as "limited", it may still be canceled.
I'm basing an end to a series by "last episode aired" and each series must air at least one episode after September 1, 2008.
Yes, "ER" is scheduled to end its run but I've given incentives for players to select the programs to be canceled first so "ER" wouldn't be high on everyone's list.
Remember, I'm working with the odds Marc Berman gave me. Receiving 10:1 odds for a show like "ER" means I have to work with a game format that has to take into account whether or not a program sees any chance of staying on television for the 2009-10 season. And as far as we know, "ER" will not.

Thanks for the clarification. We have somewhat different ideas about what canceled means, but I'm glad to know now and not be bewildered later on.
Also, I'd like to thank you for the hard work you put into all these games.
