Wasn't it Samantha Who and ABC that had 35 million viewers for their debut? The network is adding up al the viewers that watched for even a minute. That number is quite a bit higher than the real Nielsen number (6.2million viewers for the Latin Grammys) which is an average viewer rating for the total show. The 12.6 million might even be counting viewers outside the US. Those viewers aren't 'fake', but they also are not relevant.

Sunday's FOX doubleheader game featuring the Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants was viewed by 25.1 million fans, ranking as the most-watched program of the week on television and posting a 15 percent larger audience than the week's No. 2 show (CSI, 21.9 million viewers).

Since the NFL season kicked off on Sept. 6, NFL games account for five of the six most-watched programs on television:

Nick's 'Spongebob' telepic soaks up viewers

Nearly 9 million viewers soaked up the first "SpongeBob SquarePants" TV movie Monday night on Nickelodeon.

The audience for "SpongeBob Atlantis SquarePantis" was the biggest ever for a "SpongeBob" program, according to Nielsen Media Research. The series debuted in July 1999.

The music-filled movie, which features David Bowie, also helped give the network its highest-rated total-day audience of the year with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11 and ranked as the No. 1 cable entertainment program of the night among total viewers.
