This weekend marks the 2nd Year Anniversary of this game. Thanks to all who have participated in this game this past year!
- Go here to compose your roster
- Pick FIVE (5) shows, one from each network while using only ONE of the following 4 methods of picking your roster of 5 shows:
If above graphic doesn't show,
- 1 show from #1 to #10, 1 show from #11 to #25, 1 show from #26 to #40, 3 shows from #41 to last place
- 2 shows from #11 to #25, 1 show from #26 to #40, 2 shows from #41 to last place
- 1 show from #1 to #40, 1 show from #26 to #40, 3 shows from #41 to last place
- 2 shows from #11 to #40, 4 shows from #41 to last place
3. Your strategy is to pick the shows that'll rank the highest in each of the next 4 weeks
4. You get bonus points for picking a show that attracts more viewers in a week than its season average
5. Don't duplicate another forum member's 5-show roster
PIFC DIVISIONAL PLAY: Below is the competition grid all of us will be involved in this fall season. (click on the grid to access this week's PIFC weekly Game)
I based the rankings on the Cup points standings of the Winter/Spring 2008 season, along with some regulars from PIFC Daily Game.
The fantasy time slots are divisions - networks were just placeholders for me to place certain players (instead of stating "Network A" or "Network #1").
Just play PIFC how you've normally done - pick 5 shows and try to win weekly.
The top 6 time slot winners, along with the 2 best 2nd place finishers in a time slot will compete in an 8-player playoff spanning the final 3 PIFC Games in this fall season, which starts in late December.
There will still be an overall Cup champion so even those not making the playoffs can continue playing PIFC. Also, the better you play this fall, the "better" network and/or time slot you'll get for the Winter/Spring 2009's fantasy TV schedule competition grid.
If you have feedback, please provide comments and questions.
This particular game will last
4 weeks from November 24 to December 21 - winner of this game will know if they win on
January 2, 2009.
Deadline:
Tuesday, November 25, 2008 7:59a.m. ESTNOTE: Although I created this game, I thought it fair to have a 48-hour waiting period for myself to post my roster in order for anyone else to get first chances at the list of shows. You can make your roster right now; the earliest I can post my roster will be this Friday, November 21 at 9:00pm EST
