The last few weeks of America's Next Top Model has been quite a change of course. We have seen three consecutive weeks where Heather (the clear viewers choice for the win) was the worst performer because she has severe social skills/intelligence problems. Now, the field is wide open for the overall winner.

Saleisha: way too short and was handicapped this year with an extremely silly haircut designed to make her look like a manja child. Right from the start of the last photoshoot it was clear she would win the challenge, though, just because of the outfit they put her in. if 17 Magazine is the controlling factor this season, Saliesha is certainly the youngest looking model.

Bianca: the resident troublemaker. She has been kept aroudn to cause drama. She won the last ad challenge and got her picture in the 2008 Olympics games ad. Really, that was no surprise since she was the only one that had 'the face of an athelete'. Her uniqueness is that she always looks strong/mad. Still, troublemakers aren't on this show to win, are they?

Chantal: Girl next door giggly personality over just being on the show. Attractive enough, but very forgettable, IMO. On the plus side, this show likes to reward the 'underdog' and she seems the most likely to fit that role of the four models left.

Jenah: Of the models left, she has the most 'original' look. Her eyes bug out and having big eyes is a plus in the modeling industry (especialy compared to so many of the ANTM contestants that take most of their pictures with their eyes half open). Her biggest problem is that the judges don't seem to like her personality.

Heather: eliminated this week, but I think she will likely be the one that shows up in print ads going forward. Like Mercedes from season #2, she has the best chance at a 'model' career even though she did not win.

Side note: There has not been anywhere near enough Twiggy this season and now I find out that she is leaving the show. That is a shame. Taking her place next Cycle, however, is Paulina Porizkova.

I think Twiggy is still in next cycle, but not in the Fall 2008 cycle. But there hasn't been enough of her.

I like Jenah's sarcastic personality, though she's got to learn when it's okay to be that way. Still... she's a pretty girl with an AWFUL smile. Whenever she opens her mouth, I cringe.

Last night's episode was the first time Saleisha impressed me. The haircut has always been AWFUL. If they were gonna cut her long hair, why not something more Rihanna-bob chic?

According to Zap2it the change starts with Cycle 10. They did a pretty good job of keeping this secret since they must have known before now.

She reminds me a bit of Joanie, in that respect, from Cycle 6 that had dental work on the show. At this point, I'd like her to win this season. As for her annoying Nigel, it is funny how that happens nearly every season. I like Nigel, but he clearly has a superiority complex and does not think that the models should believe themselves to be on a equal/friendly level with him - ever.

The haircut is comically bad. I have no idea why they went that route except to try and create a 'unique' look. It failed. Still, in the last episode it seemed very likely she would win the photoshoot the moment they showed her in that shiny blue outfit surrounded by yellow. The color pallette was much better for her than for the other models.

Someone told me last night that even though she was booted last week, Heather still won the Cover Girl of the Week Vote.

Ha! Cool

Was there any week this season where she didn't win that vote? She was far and above the favorite with the TV viewers. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see her become the biggest name model out of this season's cast since advertisers will be eager to cash in on her popularity with fans.
