I too think ABC overtakes CBS. The eye net apparently is not being aggressive save for picking up a variety of different types of dramas, all of which have a good chance at flopping. ABC, on the other hand, will have a solid performer on every night of the week next fall and even when Dancing ends could do quite well with stuff like Dirty Sexy Money and Sam I Am on Monday and Tuesday. Private Practice should improve Wednesday.

Well what do you expect form the network. They thought last year that at this time they would have made a major comeback. They are probably now depressed from the ratings. I just hope that next year someone will overtake CBS. Hopefully NBC's comeback is near!
Sadly I doubt it. I bet ABC will overtake CBS! They seem to be really smart this year...Well so far, except in the sitcom department.
Marc, any chance you could elaborate? Whar about it was boring? Did you dislike every show they presented? What made it a mess? How would you fix the "mess"?

If I were NBC, I would have moved "Heroes" to Thursdays at 8, followed by either ER, or a new show, and then put Earl and Office at 10. I know, I know, there are no comedies at 10. But I think the 10 PM hour on thursday is vulnerable, especially if CBS goes with something new, and ABC stickes with October Road. Putting a demo winner like those 2 shows in that hour might be a winner. Giving a 9PM show like "Heroes" a true lead in might give it a fighting chance. AND "Heroes" might do great leading off Thursdays. Its only competition would be an aging "Survivor" and a sagging "Ugly Betty."
While I'm sure they'll make adjustments when the other nets make their announcements, I have a feeling that their Wednesday lineup is going to get crushed. Do they actually think that premiering 2 new shows back-to-back is going to work? I would have used one of their returning mid-season shows (or even CI) to firm up that night.

What rubbish.
Heroes is performing excellently in its Monday timeslot. Why move a show that is succeeding, its just not logical for NBC given their current situation.

Scrubs only got a 16 episode order, so my guess is that Scrubs will air its series finale at the end of February sweeps, and then IT Crowd will move into the 9:30 Thursday slot in March.

Also, does this sitcom have a laugh-track? Or is it another DULL, BORING, comedy by NBC?

With The Office using a few of their 1 Hour Episodes early and Scubs not premiering until Oct. 7th, Scrubs should be around until May.
Besides, the Episode order for 2007-08 was for 18 episodes.
