I think its the placement of these shows
that is drawing fire, and not pessimism
about the shows.

Examples -

Tues - TBL, CHUCK, SVU - ???

Wed - two new shows in a row - unwise

LIPSTICK JUNGLE - buzzable, promotable,
but held back

MEDIUM - possible lead in to help fall
new fall sked, held back

Here is what I had back in March

Mondays
DOND | Heroes | Bionic Woman

Tuesdays
1 vs. 100 | Raines | Law and Order: SVU

Wednesday
Biggest Looser | Improve Everywhere | Mastersons of Manhattan | Lipstick Jungle

Thursday
My Name is Earl | I'm With Stupid | The Office | 30 Rock | ER

Friday
Identity | The Apprentice | Las Vegas

Saturday
LO Repeats | Dateline

At the time, everyone was stating that The Apprentice was renewed for another cycle in the fall. Raines just had a nice showing (not great) on 2 Thursday Nights.

Hey I'm an Apprentite as well. Plus, I think Paul still watches it. So, the three of us have the power to make it the biggest show on earth (in the Milky Way) again.

My only concern about the Bionic Women is that they keep the same sound effects.

Funny. Big Grin

But I seriously Doubt it. The preview (Posted somwhere in pifeedback.com) actually has it looking pretty good, with just enough "Darkness" to keep it from campy (like the old series).

It's a smart idea. As a fan of the show, I'm all for it!

Actually, 24 of them will be regular series episodes...here's how a press release explains it:

The "Heroes" phenomenon is about to get even bigger. NBC will offer 30 combined episodes of "Heroes" and a spin-off called "Origins," which will introduce a new character each week -- one of whom will be chosen by viewers through the "Heroes" website on NBC.com to become a cast regular on "Heroes" the following season. The 24 regular episodes of "Heroes" will be supplemented with six "Origins" episodes.

That's an innovative way to avoid either repeat broadcasts or long breaks between "pods"!

Way to go NBC! Smiler

I also found that if we take other members notes out of context, we can create an even bigger fan base for The Apprentice than actually exists!
