Yes Fox does have 5 successful hit comedies compared to 4 on CBS, 2 on NBC, and none on ABC or CW.

Well, considering that NBC is in 4th, BEHIND FOX, that may not be a bad Idea.

No big deal, this will all be redone by Friday. As soon as the other networks layout their schedule NBC will have this rearranged.

A little off topic here but does anyone know if Marc is posting the ratings today or is Travis?

I really like the Sunday mid-season lineup. Looks pretty strong and kind of resembles what NBC had before football. Although, Lipstick Jungle looks a little out of place. I will probably check out all their new dramas except LIFE. I don't see it lasting long so I hate to invest in a show that will be gone. Unless the previews look really interesting. I was a smart move to swith The Office and 30 Rock. Although, Earl doesn't seem like a good fit with 30 Rock. But it would really help the show.

I'm very glad NBC doesn't know what to do with The Apprentice. I wonder what Donald is thinking about that....."NBC must be saving the #1 television to save the network when one of their new series fail. Ya that's what they're doing". I'm a little sad over Crossing Jordan because NBC treated it pretty poorly this year and last year it was pretty strong on Sundays @ 10:00. I also feel a little sad over Rains becaus it never had a fair chance. But oh well, I'll move on. I don't even really watch NBC and I don't plan on being a regular viewer. They have some interesting dramas that I think I may have to check out. Overall It's a pretty dull and predictable lineup, for the most part.

But there are 2 things that make me pretty angry. Friday night lights on Fridays at 10:00 after Las Vegas. Isn't FNL a family drama. How does that fit at all after Vegas. I don't mind it on Friday nights but I would rather see it at 9:00 after 1 vs. 100. Or on Sundays at 8:00 or 9:00. What's up with that. Another thing that annoys me....I know...surprise surprise...No Saturday programming. I don't know how I'll survive another year???

I've never been a big NBC viewer and I don't intend on becoming one with this lineup. Sorry 30 Rockites, the new timeslot won't help things. Earl and 30 Rock are about as compatible as According to Jim and Notes from the Underbelly.

Ditto. I'll probably try Journeyman on Monday because there is nothing else that is must-see in that timeslot. FNL on Friday is an awful idea. And at 10 pm will prove two wrongs don't make a right.

I think “Lipstick Jungle” could be a PG-13 version of “Sex and the City”, but it will have a tough road ahead if NBC sticks with its current Sunday plans – which it didn’t do this season.

This is the part of sked I find most
surprising and alarming. While I have
no idea if JUNGLE is any good, it seemed
to be new show with the broadest possible
appeal, which is what net needs, having
plenty of novelty, "niche" shows already.
Early tune in seemingly would be above
average. Very easy show to promote.

Then to pair it with two shows that are
obviously being given the burn off
treatment is surprising.

I'm going with the idea that this
Sun sked is nothing more than a holding
area.

* And on "Chuck," a series centered
around a quirky male character - airing
at 9pm tues, where TV's most popular quirky
male character resides...hmmmm.

10pm for FNL on say Wednesday would work if Bionic Woman were the lead in. Younger skewing into younger skewing but Las Vegas which has always been a bit sexed up is probably not a good lead in. I would've waited to launch FNL til midseason on Sundays after football.

If they want FNL on Fridays that badly then should stick it at 9 between 1 vs. 100 and Las Vegas. It still wouldn't do well, but it would probably be better than the likely trainwreck they'll have at 10.

Bionic Woman finished 5th for its first season on ABC and 14th its second. The ratings were lower (below the top 30) during its season on NBC.

As the self professed leader of the Rockites, we are just amazed grateful that NBC renewed it. We don't care when it's on and we always plan to show up at Marc's door to perform our hilarious re-enactments on Friday morning no matter when it's on.

Looks like they will produce more episodes of "Heroes" next year...a total of 30!!

Actually, 24 of them will be regular series episodes...here's how a press release explains it:

The "Heroes" phenomenon is about to get even bigger. NBC will offer 30 combined episodes of "Heroes" and a spin-off called "Origins," which will introduce a new character each week -- one of whom will be chosen by viewers through the "Heroes" website on NBC.com to become a cast regular on "Heroes" the following season. The 24 regular episodes of "Heroes" will be supplemented with six "Origins" episodes.

That's an innovative way to avoid either repeat broadcasts or long breaks between "pods"!

Way to go NBC! Smiler

Remember that Bionic Woman was originally a spin-off show from (the much more popular) Six Million Dollar Man. Thus the reason the first year ratings were so high.

Looks like NBC may be the first to understand the new landscape of TV. 22 episodes a year just aint going to cut it anymore.

The clips for the new "Bionic Woman" look awesome. Check out a segment "Access Hollywood" has produced here:
