It was on ABC for 2 years (same network as 6 Million Dollar Man) and NBC for one.

Maybe Marc can help us out. How did the Bionic Woman do back then?

The IT Crowd sounds like a FOX reject.

I think it would have been a better leadout from Heroes compatibility wise. Against well established Criminal Minds and possibly Greys2, and in the spring against AI isn't going to give it much chance for success.

Some of the shows don't sound half bad (Life, Bionic Woman, Lipstick Jungle) but Chuck and Journeyman just sound like eh to me. I expect a complete overhaul by the end of next week.
Gotta love the "hecklers" poking fun at NBC for changing their schedule. Last year NBC made major reviosions in response to ABC making a very surpirsing move with Greys to Thursdays at 9PM (where NBC had scheudled Studio 60). That was the only time I could remember NBC making changes shortly after announcing their fall schedule.
They are the last place network and they have to go 1st with their schedule. ABC, CBS, and FOX are able to adjust their scheudles based on what NBC does. Why should NBC be blamed if they make changes?

I think benching LIPSTICK JUNGLE until midseason is a mistake, since it looks like ABC will be giving the almost identically themed CASHMERE MAFIA the post-Grey's slot in the fall. This was a chance for NBC to have a GREY'S-like watercooler show that really got female viewers talking. Plus, BROTHERS & SISTERS is ending the season on a very strong note. The show keeps getting better, and I imagine their second season will continue that trend. Between WITHOUT A TRACE and B&S on Sunday, I think LIPSTICK's January bow will be fighting for ratings scraps and arrive DOA. It's a shame, because the pilot script was great.
The one word that comes to my mind after seeing this schedule: Failure!
Are Jeff Zucker and Kevin Reilly incapable of putting together a schedule that has the smallest hint of success?
Why would a network that is struggling on Thursdays choose to make no changes, other than re-arranging the time slots of its (humorless) sitcoms? Kind of like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. With Fox rumored to be making an aggressive play for Thursdays this fall, NBC could find itself permanently in fourth place for the night.
Why does NBC renew the critical darling “Friday Night Lights” only to give it one of the worst time slots imaginable? Was it renewed just so the network can hope to boast about having an Emmy-winning drama in its stable? Will FNL even still be on the air by the time snow flies on the East Coast?
I think “Lipstick Jungle” could be a PG-13 version of “Sex and the City”, but it will have a tough road ahead if NBC sticks with its current Sunday plans – which it didn’t do this season.
Also, where is the bomb formerly known as “The Apprentice”? This rapidly sinking series was supposedly renewed for two seasons last spring (the L.A. season and one more). Has NBC finally come to its senses and found a way to wiggle out of that commitment? If so, that may be one of the brightest moves the network has made in a long time.
Looking realistically at this current schedule (which will probably change Friday morning), there is a good chance that all of these new series will fail, leaving NBC to climb out of an even deeper hole next year. I honestly hope NBC does have some success, but I think that Zucker and Reilly may have to man the lifeboats next season.
There is not a single new show on NBC that looks interesting. I might try Lipstick Jungle because I loved Sex and the City so much, but I'm still not sold on it. The one good thing about Lipstick Jungle is we should have an Audrey-less season of 24 next year.
I don't recall how it did either, I thought it was top 15, but it was only on for 3 years, two at CBS and one at NBC I think, so not sure if it was Lindsay Wagner who didn't want to do any more or the show wasn't doing great. Maybe Marc can help us out. How did the Bionic Woman do back then?
It was never a "Hit". I performed OK for its day. But considering there were only 3 networks and no cable TV, what a HIT was then and what a HIT is now, is two completely different things.
If a show wasn;t #1 in its slot, or fight for #1, then survival was not a long term deal.
Don't forget how bad the CW is ran. It make NBC look like CBS.
