NBC isn't just letting him go, they want him back, I guess it is up to Leno to stay or to try to create and maintain a new late night show with The Tonight Show and Late Night already being established in the hour.

To me, I think that Leno should do what Letterman did years ago and just change networks. He could go to FOX (hopefully, they'll have added an extra hour of programming to each night by then) and bring his viewers with him and help establish them in the late night game for a nice pay raise and more respect than NBC is showing him.

Now that most Fox affiliates are doing news at 10 p.m., they aren't giving that hour back.

The rumor I've heard is that if Fox gets Leno, he won't start at 11--Ailes wants a nightly news presence on the mainline Fox, the affiliates won't give him a dinnerhour newscast, but they might give him an 11 p.m. slot. So, the possibility of a newscast anchored by Shepherd Smith at 11, Leno at 11:35 (or maybe 11:30, to give Leno a five-minute jump on the other guys).

Sorry to be late to this, but I had to voice my opinion. TERRIBLE! I can't believe they're letting him do this!
