No excuse. Going up against a slew of repeats on rival networks...NBC's first run episodes of "30 Rock" and "Earl"...bombed Thusday night November 29. Ben Silverman has his work cut out for him. These shows are aired on what is the big ad dollar night in network television...Thursday night. And what ever advertisers are paying...that can't be happy with the results. Still haven't recovered from "Friends" going off air.

Ever since 2004 NBC has been horrible on Thursdays. I remember My Name Is Earl debuting around 14 million, but then quickly went to 10 or 9 million. Even Will & Grace didn't do much for NBC after it lost the Friends lead in.
NBC needs a good multi-cam, laugh track, sitcom. That would help. No one likes this single cam crap they're giving.
