Apparently Dopeillo does break stories on occasion:

Personally, a Friday lineup of Jordan, Vegas, and Medium would be a good thing.

Is NBC going to cancel anything? Maybe Raines ratings are low enough for renewal. Wink

Probably just 1 vs. 100. I don't believe the numbers were low enough to get them on the 2007 fall sched.

Medium is likely to return on either NBC or maybe CBS.

There's very little chance that'll happen.

However, it is produced by CBS and if they were going to cancel Close to Home, I can't think of a more perfect companion to Ghost Whisperer.

I bet there's a chance it would come in at midseason, because CBS would want to reap the syndication rewards of another 13 episodes or so from Lifetime.

I don't think NBC is going to cancel much of anything at this point, since they're only presenting 5 new shows at the upfronts, only three of which are dramas. I think they'll keep most of their current programming, and maybe do some schedule juggling. So I think Medium will be back on NBC, though I'm not so sure about CJ. Looks like the original L&O may be gone though, unless Wolf strikes a deal in the next few days. I think Medium is safe for now on NBC, especially since it looks like Scrubs may be moving to ABC, which frees up another slot for one of their new shows. That's all speculation though. It'll be interesting to hear what NBC pitches at the upfronts. It's GOT to get better than it was this season.

Sadly, it probably won't be. NBC had an amazing development slate last year and I'm not hearing too much from this season's slate of shows. That's why I think CJ gets a last minute midseason deal if Wolf doesn't get all the Law and Orders back (I'm thinking he will- if NBC cans the original without a proper finale it would be really cheap imo. They could at least go 13 episodes to give it a proper goodbye.)
