IMHO, the best L&O dick combo was Orbach & Noth. That great show searted going south when Orbach died. I hope Balcer can liven it up a bit.

Shoot, SVU has some "jiggle" in it with Hargitay, but I , a former cop, can easily imagine ger as a NYPD dick.

In the original L&O, I'd liketa see Noth return as a regular & Merkerson's role expanded. I can easily imagine her as a NYPD looey.
