I get it, writer's deserve to get paid more money, but COME ON!! I can't just stop doing my job when I feel like I deserve more, that would be cause for replacement. You get more with honey that you do with anything else... so I think I'm giving up on tv in general... this writer's crap is really unappreciated here.

I bet lots of people give up on tv. The internet and video games are already major competition, especially with younger people, they are only going to continue to lose viewers to these alternatives if they don't get a deal going soon.

That is the whole reason for the strike, to get paid for what people watch threw network associated websites (ie: ABC.com, NBC.com and CBS.com} who all have full episodes online for fans to view/rewatch after their original broadcast. Of course iTunes which they get zero funds from but only the networks.

i think we're all feeling the effects of the strike. but as jeffie said it's not so much they're demanding more money, it's that they're getting cheated out of money owed to them for syndication and online views/sales. but it's not stopping everyone. there's a new show comin to lifetime that i'm actually really interested in checking out called How To Look Good Naked. Good ol' Carson Kressley is hosting it and pretty much teh idea is he shows women how to become happy and comfortable with their appearances, then makes them do a nude photoshoot hah. AND, word is that Conan is coming back even without his writers?? he's even said the show wont be as good and might even be bad at times, but he wants to keep the rest of the show's staff employed. that's pretty great of him.
