Does anyone know the ratings for Wildfire on the season so far? Or maybe where I could find them?

I know you're looking for recent numbers, but I can share the season 1 and 2 numbers I recorded from a press release:

S1: 0.8HH/1%, 0.4 A18-34, 1.1 T12-17, 1.041m viewers
S2: 1.2HH/2%, 0.5 A18-34, 1.7 T12-17, 1.555m viewers

Maybe someone else (travisyanan?) has the season 3 and 4 numbers.

I always thought this series might interest The CW for their Sunday family hour. Maybe now the producers can shop it to that network, and put the encores up on Sunday afternoons Easyview.

well considering that the cw is formed from the merger of the WB and UPN who in the past swapped shows on more than one occasion (Roswell/Buffy) it's not too far off to think it's a good idea especially since the CW's target demographic is women 18-24 and Wildfire's major audience is women in their late teens and early twenties as well as younger teens and families

plus, the cw could use a solid show for a season or two.

Wildfire on The CW?

Positives
+++++++++

+ Good base audience, heavy in teen and young female demos. Highly loyal viewers, with vibrant Internet buzz and healthy DVD sales.
+ Compatible programming with Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill.
+ Can run the four seasons of encores on Sunday afternoon Easyview, CW Daytime or even kidsWB.
+ Probably comes with a reasonable per episode license fee (it was originally on ABC Family after all).
+ Not a Disney/Touchstone production, so negotiations with a rival network will be clean and without hidden agendas.

Negatives
---------
- Lacks a name star.
- Perception created by picking up a cable network cancellation (unprecedented actually...I can't think of a single cable to network series aside from the brilliant "Politically Incorrect" which moved from COMEDY to ABC).

it could overcome the negatives... who was the name stars on smallville when it started or 7th heaven or gossip girl for that matter? and the other negative well there hasn't been a show more perfect for a network to jump from cable than Wildfire for CW... just look at the target demo and the already established cult like fans it's a match made for each other

I say go for it! Wildfire on the CW! These last two years have PROVEN to us that the CW can't develop new shows with any kind of following. UPN tried to buy The Inviable Man from the Sci-fi channel, so I don't see reason the CW should have any problem with it. It's not as if it's got the ratings to be turning anybody down with Spanish speaking networks beating them in terms of viewers.

A Wildfire pick-up would be a bold move by The CW.
