It may be just me, but I'm wondering if FN gave Adam the show due to similarities between his NFNS pilot and the new FN show "Ask Aida." Both the pilot and "Ask Aida" are based on the theme of taking online questions from viewers.

It's also interesting that FN gave another wannabe Season 4 contestant a show -- Mary Nolan applied for Season 4, and FN opted to give her a six-episode show without competing on NFNS! "Chic and Easy" aired for six weeks and, IMO, wasn't good.
