I loved the November 23 marathon of classic game shows on GSN. Back then, I hoped GSN would bring back these same classic game shows.
My wish has somewhat been granted: Beginning January 7, either an 1980s or 1990s version of Wheel of Fortune and Tic Tac Dough return to the daily schedule in the 11:00 AM ET hour.
On weekends beginning the weekend of January 5, the 1979 Monty Hall version of Beat The Clock and the 1976 Alex Trebek version of Double Dare (no, not like the Nickelodeon version I grew up watching) air late nights on the weekends.
View a more detailed new GSN schedule at this site.
(Now if only Joker's Wild and somehow GSN gets the 1980s $ale of the Century and Scrabble, I'll be even happier!)

I noticed Twenty One on their schedule in the wee hours. Granted it's not a "classic", but I enjoyed that show. It probably would do well if they brought it back to NBC.
In January, GSN started airing TTD at 11:30am eastern.
Then on March 31, it was pushed back to 10:00am eastern.
Now, starting July 21, TTD airs at 9:00am eastern.
I'm guessing with its earlier time slots, TTD is not doing well on GSN mornings. As long as it stays on the air until the end of summer, when 3 of its biggest winners will appear, I'll be happy.

I have no data since these dates but my guess is that it averages about 80-90k viewers per day, which is on par for its ratings since January.
Only Match Game currently gets a lower daily average on GSN mornings.

Thank you Douglas. I figured that 'What's My Line' would out-perform 'The Name's The Same', and the 91,666 viewer average was about what I expected.
Douglas, could you please post coming weeks of the Black & White Overnight hour on GSN...I'd like to match up the ratings against the various mystery guests.
Hey, Douglas. Either we can't email each other or I just don't know how. Could you send me an email at alexdavis@buzzerblog.com please? I wanted to ask you a quick question for my site.
Do you have any numbers for Weakest Link at 4pm Eastern time?

I don't have much viewer info from GSN but I do have household info... sort of - it's based on cable network coverage in U.S. households. GSN is currently seen in 59% of the country, which is about 66.4 million households. The following household coverage ratings are based on a percentage of the 66.4 million available:
The updated version of The Newlywed Game as well as new episodes of the GSN original Catch 21 are already the highest-rated game shows on the network, since each of their April 6 premieres.
Here is each series' 5-day household coverage rating average:
The Newlywed Game April 6-10: 0.5 (approx. 580k viewers) April 13-17: 0.5
Catch 21 April 6-10: 0.5 (approx. 490k viewers) April 13-17: 0.5
Other highly-rated GSN shows for the week of April 13-19: Let's Make a Deal (Sat 12:00p, 0.4) Chain Reaction (Sat 11:30a, 0.4) Lingo (Mon-Fri 3:30p, 0.4) Weakest Link (Mon-Fri 4:00p, 0.4) Chain Reaction (Mon-Fri 5:00p, 0.4) Family Feud (Mon-Fri 5:00p, 0.4) Family Feud (Mon-Fri 4:30p, 0.4) Family Feud (Mon-Fri 5:30p, 0.4)
