Not really that big of a deal.
He will take over for Letterman when he steps down, and that may be a few years (I think he signed a new deal last year).

All it really does is take him off the market for NBC.

He seems to be an acquired taste just like Conan and Letterman. I'd say Leno will end up on either ABC or Fox and remain number one. Personally, a Leno-Kimmel combo would be pretty darn unstoppable. I also look for Fox to get their hands on somebody before its all said and done.

Rumor has it that FOX is going with Joe Buck (Sportscaster) to have his own talk show.

Did read that Jon Stewart's and Letterman's contracts both end at the same time. A perfect time for JS to step in as Late SHow Host.

JS is not bad. I prefer him over Letterman and Conan. I personally like Kimmel the best, right now.

Ya I heard that too, but if they could get Leno they would probably go with him leading into Spike Ferenstein or whatever his name is. They seem to enjoy that program. My personal favorite is Craig Ferguson but I realize he's not for everyone.
