I wish USA would yank the snooze-worthy Dead Zone and let this have one more run, leading into some new show. But I have a feeling they'll just scrap 'em both and start from scratch on Sunday, as both were pulling sub-2 million. They're developing a ton of new shows lately, it seems.
It's about 15 articles down (search the pg. for Ira Steven Behr). It's not an official confirmation, I guess, but it says the show was due to begin production in December but if the strike is still going at that time, Behr won't be there. So who knows with the strike, but apparently USA was planning on another season. That makes me really happy.
According to Ausiello, The 4400 and The Dead Zone have both been axed.
I will really miss The 4400 during the summer... I think it laid the groundwork for Heroes, and in the final analysis will probably end up IMO a smarter and better show than Heroes.
Yes, dead Zone & 4400 have both been axed; to me, the latter was a better show than mosta the mediocre-to-poor fluff the major nets are now airing.
And I won't waste my time & effort sending letters , emails, etc. to USA, trying to get them to make a closure ep or movie. I know it was all fiction, so I'll simply let it RIP 7 go on with my life.
"L&O" returns next week...YAY! Well...I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's as good as it has been. While still missing Orbach as Det. Briscoe, gonna hafta suck it up and go on, same as without any more 4400.
